Shipping & returns
Everything is bought and paid for on Etsy. That means Etsy's shipping and returns policy is the one that actually applies to your order, and it's the place to start if something's gone wrong. My Etsy shop (opens in a new tab).
Shipping
Orders post from Canberra, ACT with Australia Post. Postage cost and estimated delivery are calculated at checkout on Etsy, based on where you are.
International shipping is available through Etsy as well. Customs and any import duties are outside my control and are the buyer's responsibility.
Dispatch time and postage options are shown on each Etsy listing at checkout, which is always the most up-to-date place to look.
If something's wrong with your order
Message me through Etsy (opens in a new tab) , or email scifleet.siena@gmail.com. Send a photo if you can. I'd much rather fix it than have you stuck with something you're not happy with.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Australian Consumer Law gives you rights that no shop policy can take away. In plain English:
- Goods have to be of acceptable quality — safe, durable, free from defects, and doing what you'd reasonably expect them to do.
- Goods have to match their description. If a listing says waterproof vinyl that fits an Infinity Pump, that's what has to arrive.
- If there's a major problem — something that would have stopped you buying it had you known — you can choose a refund or a replacement.
- If there's a minor problem, I get the chance to fix it within a reasonable time. If I can't, you can then choose a refund or replacement.
These rights apply on top of anything Etsy offers, and they apply whether or not you've kept the packaging. You can read the full detail at theACCC (opens in a new tab).
Change of mind
Australian Consumer Law doesn't require a refund for change of mind, and because personalised items are made to order they can't be resold. If you've made a mistake on a custom order, message me straight away — before it's printed I can almost always fix it.
